The gallery offers free entry.
It is important to note that While some galleries may charge admission fees, Nike Art Gallery is a hidden gems that offer free entry. In this post, i will explore Nike Art Gallery in Lekki and So read to the end to find out my reason.

Nike Art Gallery, Lekki is located in the heart of Lekki, the major bustop is called Ikate. it is a white stunning four-story building showcasing an extensive collection of Nigerian and African art. It is Founded by Chief Nike Davies-Okundaye. This gallery is a treasure with different traditional and contemporary art and forms. It has over 8,000 artworks on display, you’ll be mesmerized by the sheer talent and creativity.

From the entrance of the gallery, you will begin to see different Art forms from metal work to wood work to mention a few. Click the video below to watch as short Vlog.
As I wandered through the art gallery in my last trip, I discovered that the art forms were Vibrant paintings and sculptures of people, presidents, landscapes to mention a few. Some art work work was an infusion on Intricate textiles and beadwork. On the final floor, there was different art, sculptures showcasing Traditional Yoruba art and artifacts

Every stairway had a form or artwork and it was mesmerising, in the picture below, you can see artworks decorations the staircase.

Some of the artworks were painting of world leaders and presidents like Nelson Mandela, Barack Obama to mention a few.
I was so grateful for the fact that the Admission is free and I got to see so many art works. The experience at the Nike Art Gallery shows the richness of Nigeria and African Art and Art scene. It looked at works from different artists, showing their creativity through different forms of Art.

Upon leaving, I had to take a picture of the metal and rubber art work at the front of the building as it was magnificent.
